1Choose a domain
Think of something short and easy to spell, such as yourbusiness.co.uk. Check that it does not infringe another business name or trade mark.
2Buy it yourself
Choose a reputable registrar and purchase the domain using your own email address and your business or personal registration details. Keep the renewal reminder and recovery email in your control.
3Tell us where it is registered
Send Bramlo only the domain name and the company you used to buy it. You do not need to send the account password.
4Connect it safely
We will tell you the DNS records or nameserver settings required for the site. Some registrars offer limited-access invitations; otherwise we can talk you through entering the records yourself.
5Check business email first
If you already have email at that domain, we check the current MX, SPF, DKIM and related records before changing DNS. This is important to avoid interrupting your email.
6Launch and test
Once DNS changes propagate, we test HTTPS, the www and non-www addresses, mobile layout, contact form and any existing email routing.
